Melvin T. Whittenburg
Melvin is an American ExxonMobil Oil Corporation Retiree and a US Army Retired Logistics Officer with two tours at the Defense Logistics Agency. He is a supply chain management expert with extensive logistics management experience in the safe handling of crude oil, gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, heating oil, feedstock, and retail store products. As Senior Voyage Coordinator at ExxonMobil’s SeaRiver Maritime, he was responsible for the safe global movement of ExxonMobil Owned and Charter Tanker vessel movement of crude (includes Aramco crude). During his career, he was responsible for the movement of 478.9K deliveries, valued at $284.4B USD. While at SAFCO Energy, he and Safana AlHuzali developed a 360° Supply Chain Management Course with the ambition to prepare Saudi nationals for careers in the logistics industry.
